The annual LEVOC conference is a two-day conference featuring up to date training for both volunteers and volunteer coordinators, including networking opportunities to share Law Enforcement Volunteer Programs ideas.
On Oct 14th, tables will be provided for agencies to share printed information about their Volunteer Programs. Please indicate on the registration form if youe agency is interested in participating the the table display.

| CHP Patrol Training: Patrol vehicle operationas and safety tactics: learn and develop operational procedures and safety tactics when using a patrol vehicle.

| Gangs: Listen to gang expert talk about current gang activity in Northern Californis

| Crime Scene Investigation: Learn about how crime scene investigation is done and listen to case studies.

| Elder Abuse: Learn to recognize the financial abuse of seniors and dependent adults. Gain insight into reporting guidelines and government policies.

| EOD: Explosive ordanance Disposal, also known as "The Bomb Squad": Overview of the Bomb Squad's duties, call outs and role in law enforcement.

| Networking Tables: Share your volunteer programs with agencies from all over California. Bring brochures, pamphlets, printed materials and pictures. Networking tables will be set up on October 14th only. Set up begins at 8 am, tables will remain up all day.

| Agency vehicle display: A special area has been set aside at the conference for displaying volunteer vehicles. This will give each agency an opportunity to show off their finest patrol unit, traffic control vehicle, or community service vehicle. Command vehicles are also welcome. Display vehicles are limited to ONE per agency. |
