About LEVOC

In 1999, the first Law Enforcement Volunteer Conference was organized by the Concord Police Department and featured training and information for approximately 100 volunteers and volunteer coordinators.
In 2000, several agencies joined with the Concord Police Department and developed the non-profit organization known as Law Enforcement Volunteers of California (LEVOC). There is no membership fee to be part of LEVOC. All law enforcement volunteers and coordinators are encouraged to attend the conference, paying only the conference fee.
The goal of LEVOC is to provide professional training, support and resources for law enforcement volunteers, and to assist agencies interested in developing or enhancing a volunteer program.
The LEVOC committee is comprised of about 10 law enforcement agencies from Northern California. Agencies interested in participating on the conference planning committee and becoming agency sponsors may contact LEVOC for more information.
